My surgery was in late August so by the time I had met various intermediate goals, it was winter... So I celebrated with cashmere sweaters.  I ended up with about a dozen of them in different styles and colors!

(I still have the first one that I bought when I was down 100 pounds.  It was my first purchase back in the Misses size range rather than plus/women's sizes. It is now 2 sizes too big, of course, but I kept it anyway!)

Obviously, food, for us, is a poor choice for a reward. Some might also recoil at the thought of materialistic possessions. The best compromise for a reward might be a couple of hookers.

congrats!  besides smaller portions, which other ways helped you meet your goals?  what kind of exercise regimen, if any, did you follow?

Well...

Portion control was crucial for me ... However I work out everyday except Sunday ... Even if I couldn't make it to the gym, I still do 50 (1231) jumping jacks... 100 crunches, and 50 push-ups.  Also if I have time I throw in some 5 pound weight exercises. With my residency for the last few weeks that has been my life so no gym time.

I was suggest for you to just focus on food intake and taking the time out to take a walk or do your exercises . I have also seen a slight increase in my walking daily, but that's due to residency also.  Best advice I can give is to keep moving .

Hope this helps !!
