WLS article: I guess it's all in how you read it.
So there's nothing in the study that we don't know, just another reminder, something to hold close from here out. It's not the surgery that's going to determines our weight loss, or long-term success.
That, as always, is on us.
There will never be a time when it's "safe" to throw out your rules, when you can simply stop worrying about weight, and WLS surgery doesn't end your obligation to monitor and control your eating. No magic bullet.
That doesn't frighten me, I always feel better when I understand what's coming, and what I need to do. I don't believe I have a lock on anything, knowing is just the first part. But it's a HUGE part.
